Eight students in the course "World Mythologies and the Arts" at Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV) had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about some of the world’s most enduring myths during a weeklong trip to Scotland earlier this semester. During the trip, students conducted primary research for a capstone video project, the results of which were recently shared with the PSU-LV community.

A new research program for students will be launched this coming fall: The Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Undergraduate Student Research Fund aims to support student-led projects in different fields. Participants will acquire hands-on experience in research, scholarship, and artistic efforts. They will be responsible for creating their own research problems, study proposals, methodologies, and presenting their findings.

The final round of Penn State Altoona’s fourth Women in Engineering Design Competition took place April 15 and 16. This year's theme was "Horseshoe Curve," held in collaboration with the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum.
